The watch is not responding and appears frozen

In this case, you may need to perform a soft reboot of the device. 

Garmin device needs to be updated

Keeping your software up-to-date can help ensure your Garmin device is operating at its best. Follow these instructions to update your Garmin

Pulse Ox metric is draining the battery

Collecting Pulse Ox data can have a significant impact on Garmin device battery life. 

To de-select this feature:

  1. From the settings menu in the Garmin Connect app, select Garmin Devices.
  2. Select your device.
  3. Select Activity Tracking > Pulse Ox.
  4. Deselect Sleep Tracking
