Unpair/Remove Your Garmin Device

A quick step-by-step guide for unpairing your Garmin device from Garmin Connect, Labfront Companion and your mobile phone.

You will need to remove the Garmin device inside the Garmin Connect and Labfront Companion apps and through your mobile device's Bluetooth settings. Follow the steps below to complete the process successfully.

Step 1: Unpair Device from Labfront Companion

  1. Open the Labfront Companion App
  2. Open the Settings
  3. Select Devices > Garmin > Unpair Device
  4. Confirm you want to unpair the device

Step 2: Remove Device from Garmin Connect

  1. Open the Garmin Connect App.

  2. Open the Menu.

    • Android: Select 3 vertically stacked lines (top left).

    • iOS: Select More (bottom right).

  3. Select Garmin Devices.

  4. Select the device you want to remove.

  5. Select kebab menu icon (top right).

  6. Select Remove Device.

  7. Confirm you want to remove the device.

The device should no longer be listed in the Garmin Connect app. However, you will still need to remove the device from your phone's settings. See below for details.

Step 3: Remove Device from Phone's Bluetooth

Unpair Device from Android Phones

The steps below should work for the majority of Android models, but your specific model's instructions might vary.   

1. Open Android Settings

2. Select Connections

3. Select Bluetooth

4. Locate the name of your device under Paired Devices

5.  Select Settings symbol > Unpair

6. Confirm you want to unpair the device.

 

Unpair Device from iOS Phones

1. Open iOS Settings

2. Select Bluetooth

3. Locate the name of your device

4. Select > Forget This Device

5. Confirm you want to forget the device.

 

In some cases, you may also want to reset your device
