Researchers can see if participants are using the latest version of the app by checking the Participants or Adherence pages. This can be useful to check if a participant is reporting problems with the app. 

Compatibility requirements

The Labfront Companion app can be installed on an Android or iOS device. To ensure compatibility, devices need to meet the following minimum requirements:

Apple iOS

  • iOS 14.1 or higher

  • Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch
  • For best performance, we recommend:

    • Device released within last 4 years

Android

  • 8.0 Android Operating System or higher

  • Compatible with phones and tablets

  • Android device must natively support Google Play Store

  • For best performance, we recommend:

    • Android 10 or newer

    • Device released within the last 4 years

Note:
Some Android devices, such as Huawei, OnePlus, Xiaomi and Samsung have default settings in place that may affect the functionality of the Labfront Companion app. We suggest checking your system settings to see if there is a battery/performance optimization whitelist.
