What is Zero Crossing Data?
Garmin calculates zero crossing data from ACC (accelerometer) data.
ACC data gives you movement along the XYZ axes 25 times a second. Zero crossing, which counts how many times the ACC data crosses the zero, is a measure in your changes in acceleration. Generally speaking, zero crossing measures the averaged frequency of the movement.
